I’m pleased to announce that Clearpath has received SSAE 16 Type 2 SOC 1 reports documenting the suitability of design and effectiveness of our controls to achieve related control objectives. The reports cover a broad range of financial auditing requirements for U.S. and International auditing bodies.
Clearpath’s SOC 1 report focuses on controls that are relevant to the financial and technology audits that our customers are mostly likely to undergo. Since our client base is broad, we designed our reports to cover controls likely to be required by a variety of scenarios.
Furthermore, our reports utilize the Trust Services Principles, published by the AICPA, to evaluate the effectiveness of a service organizations controls with respect to security, availability, processing integrity and confidentiality of information.
These reports continue to differentiate Clearpath from other managed service and cloud providers by demonstrating that we are attuned to the risks that our customers face, and are equipped with appropriate controls to address those risks. These reports attest that our controls program is appropriately designed and that the controls defined to safeguard customer data are operating effectively over time. The result allows customers to leverage our services to manage, store and process any type of sensitive data, including financial reporting data with assurance that their data is being properly protected. Clearpath’s commitment to SSAE 16 reporting is ongoing and we will continue the process of annual audits.
