We all know that virtualization reduces server sprawl, cooling and power consumption, but now that we have cut down on server sprawl we have created new issue I will call cable sprawl. The days of a server with a couple of NICs are gone and now we have a reduced number of servers with multiple NICs and a spaghetti mess of cables in one rack. So how do we eliminate the cable sprawl and increase the bandwidth?
